NuSouth Drag Racing League has created a new index class for motorcycles. Outlaw 5.0 Semi Pro is unique way of index racing. Participants in this class will run on a 5.0 elapse time index throughout eliminations until the final round of competition. In the final round, participants will run heads up out the back door! This form of index racing will be exciting for both the participants and the spectators. In this class, the fastest motorcycle will still have to demonstrate consistency in driving and tuning in order to make it to the final round.
On the other hand, the consistent driver and tuner will have to be ready for the final and hope that he or she has “brung enough” horsepower to win the race. Both racers will have to overcome the temptation of being overly aggressive in preparing their final round tune-up because to much horsepower could mean over powering the track. The spectators will want to stay until the final round to see which motorcycle driver has the hp, tuning and driving skills to win Outlaw 5.0 Semi Pro.
Designation: O/5.0 followed by racer number.
